Good for a new installation, not so much for an existing setup
The build and part quality of this tower are what you would expect in this price range. All fittings are barbed so they are easy to assemble/disassemble for cleaning.
My biggest problem is with the base. I had worn out an existing tower that I had installed onto a countertop. (The kegerator was fitted below the counter.) My original tower had a flared base with mounting holes spaced every 1/4" or so around the base. My set had been mounted with screws at the 10/2/4/8 positions as compared with a clock face.
This replacement product only has holes drilled at 12/3/6/9. I was left with the option of drilling new holes in the base or installing the tap at an angle. Since there is no trim ring to cover the mounting base (again, unlike my original) it seemed as if the extra holes would be quite unsightly. I installed at the angle. It looks a bit odd, but it works.
Works great
Replaced my old keg tower with this one. So far it is working great. I filled the tower up with stay foam to keep it more insulated which also is a good idea.
Cheaper than from Source
This tower works well and already comes with lines hooked up. It is missing the beer washer, though, so you will have to get a beer washer (or use a hose washer, in an emergency)so the connection to the keg will not leak. It is a 2.5" diameter tower. It also comes with a flange and bolts, instead of the twist connection provided with the Edgestar BR2000BL Kegerator fridge, so you have to drill some holes.
