over priced
I think these tablets are over priced for a cleaning product. I plan to use some of the less expensive tablets to compare and will check back here soon. 4 stars because they do keep the machine functioning well. However our daughter has never cleaned her Jura Capresso in 4 years and only had one minor clog which rectified itself with a little water flush.
I bought less expensive Urnex brand Cafiza tablets as I said I would. We clean the Jura F7 every time it sys and after 6 cleanings with the less expensive tablet, it works fine and our coffee is the best. Our daughter does clean her machine, I never saw any tablets and her older machine does not state to clean it so I didn't know before. I am very happy with the Cafiza tablets.
We do not use the descaling tablets because we always change the filter when indicated. We also use water filtered at the faucet and then filtered through Brita pitchers. May be over kill but the kitchen has a 6 month filter on the...
Necessary Evil
Pricey but necessary. Keeps my Jura in good shape and I try to take good care of it since it takes such good care of me.
Cleaning tablets
Does what it is designed to do. I need one about every month or so (we drink a LOT of coffee). Painless.
