Nigella Lawson Bliss Beech Chopping Board, Large

The Perfect Cutting Board
This cutting board is the perfect size for chopping vegetables. To prevent contamination and for easy clean up; I only use this board for vegetables, fruit, and bread. The tray comes out easily to be carried to a pot/pan on the stove. This cutting board minimizes vegetables from being dropped on the floor during transfer to the cooking area. The Beech wood surface is hard and durable. This cutting board with definately last for years to come.

Fabulous
I love this product, particularly with the removable draw to smoothly take your veggies "en masse" to the cook pot!!!

BlissHome Nigella Lawson's Living Kitchen Measuring Cups, Blue, Set of 4

Beautiful but one flaw
These are beautiful cups that are a pleasure to behold and are just fine for measuring wet ingredients. However, if one is measuring dry ingredients such as flour, you cannot level the flour off with a knife for precision. Instead of having each cup be the exact volume for each measurement, the cups have the measurements etched inside with the line well below the level of the top of the cup, making leveling off impossible. Admittedly, one should measure dry ingredients with a scale for greatest accuracy, but the cups are advertised as being good for a "multitude of baking ingredients" so I don't think that's true.

Ceramic cups, 5 stars...Melamine cups, 3 stars...There is a difference
There is a difference between the ceramic and melamine and it is crucial. I actually found my first ceramic set of these at a tag sale. I loved how you could measure wet and dry ingredients with the markings on the upper rim. I enjoyed the vintage look and the way they worked dipping into bags. I don't find the handles to be an issue as others stated. My fear was that the kids might drop them so I opted to purchase a second set in the melamine for them to use since I learned that replacing them if they broke would be quite expensive.

That is where I learned the difference. On the ceramic set the cups are set up to measure wet ingredients to the line markings on the upper rim and dry ingredients to the rim of the cup. This is missing on the melamine set where the measurement is simply stamped into the bottom of the cup. Now I understand why some stated they didnt work for them and others raved. I am going to take a sharpie and line mark them so they work just as my ceramic...

More pretty than practical
Sadly, as I am a fan of Nigella products, I am a little disappointed with these measuring cups. The handles are a bit small - not easy to grasp, and I feel another size between 1/2 and 1 cup would be very useful. Nonetheless, I still use them and take pleasure in using them because they are so beautiful.

BlissHome Nigella Lawson's Living Kitchen Measuring Cups, Cream, Set of 4

"Measurements are Approximate"
I had been looking for measuring cups like these for years and was so excited to find this set. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as soon as I opened the box. The product insert states "measurements are approximate". I tested the measurement and sadly they are not accurate. Inaccurate measuring cups are worthless. I returned these immediately.

Used Pyrex lately?
The measuring line below the top of the measuring cup is not unusual - in fact, Pyrex has been doing it for years. In my kitchen, we have two sets of measuring cups - one for dry and one for liquid. Only the dry measure is good for both applications. If you watch Barefoot Contessa, or many other of the Food Netwoork food shows, they use a scoop for dry measure. Nigella seems to have it down pat as to how to use her set for both applications - it takes lots of practice but does not diminish the value of her set.

Petite, not for exacting measurements, but completely adorable.
First, the not so hot; they are very petit little measuring cups when you finally see them sitting in front of you, which I suppose is not a fault (measurements being a standard thing... well, for the most part, "across the pond" differences notwithstanding). The color was alright but definitely showed any sign of discoloration moreso than would one of the darker colors.

Now, the hot; they are SO chic. These measuring cups are for the baker who bakes like Nigella - with added umph in every step of the way. The ceramic is remarkably sturdy (though I have not dropped these from more than a few inches off the countertop) and the measuring lines make liquid measurement no problem.

Not for everyone (especially those who go into arrest should a baker's cup be "mounded"), but definitely a cute addition to any modern kitchen - if you have the extra cash to add some "kitsch in the kitchen" as Nigella would say, I in turn say go for it.

BlissHome Nigella Lawson's Living Kitchen Utensil, Cream, Set of 6

Very Very Happy with this Set
These sturdy kitchen utensils are perfect. Much better than I expected. I love the shape of the ladles: besides being pretty, the oval shape helps scoop up more liquid. And the perforated spoons and skimmers are really handy, especially when it comes to things like poached eggs.

Like I said, they have a sturdy, slightly heavy (but not too heavy!) feeling in my hand, which is reassuring. I've only had them a few weeks so I don't know how they hold up over the long run but I suspect that won't be a problem. And I love the creamy color. Oh, and the Nigella logo, which consists of a crown with an 'N' in the middle is nice, too, but even nicer is that she places it discreetly on the back of the utensils.

flimsy
I found that the utensils are pretty to look at but didnt seem like they could be used as one of the spoons broke very easily and found that they are better used for show.

Gorgeous Set
Love the utensil set as per usual Nigella doesnt let you down with style, good & sturdy and nice colour

Sephra CF18M-SST Elite 6-lb Capacity Chocolate Fountain, Stainless Steel

the center of any party
This is the home version of the fountain used by the pros - it is the center of any party, is fairly easy to use, and (except for the base) is dishwasher safe. It does take some space to store, and does need some attention during the party. It also requires 5-6lbs of chocolate to ensure an even flow.

Disappointed
I received this for Christmas from my mother and it worked only once. The motor burned out and the company would not honor the warranty. Both the company and the fountain were a HUGE diappointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

worked flawlessly; so impressed!
We rented this machine from an events store for the weekend. It was a huge hit, and the machine performed flawlessly. We are so impressed we're planning on buying one (or two) for our next event.

Before bringing it home my wife received a few instructions on it's operation, and a few hints on getting it to flow well. Basically, if it's not level you're going to need to feed it more chocolate to get it to flowing perfectly. This machine comes with leveling screws under its base and it was a breeze to get it level... and our dining room table has a fairly moderate lean to it.

In case you can't see, the unit comes with several buttons. A primary power button, a flow On button, a flow Off button, and four different heat setting buttons: Off/Low/Med/High.

This unit is capable of melting chocolate. The first night we pre-melted the chocolate, but the second night we had an extra 60 minute prep time so we just placed the chocolate on the dish and turned...

BlissHome Nigella Lawson's Living Kitchen Tea Pot, Blue

Le Petit Bleu
This lovely pale blue teapot by Nigella Lawson is simply elegant! It is both modern and traditional at the same time. What attracted my the most was definitely the color--it is rare to find pale blue anything. Added extra...MADE IN PORTUGAL!!! You will love this beautiful piece for years to come. It is definitely worth the $!

its okay
pretty to look at but not so practical. I like to put herbs and zest in my tea when making and the spout allows both to seep out and make a mess when pouring. An addendum to the first review...I have been using for several months and noticed lots of cracks inside around handle and across the bottom of the pot. Not leaking yet, but thought I would share how the pot is performing after a little use.

so pretty
this is a beautiful tea pot, it is finished very nicely and a good size, perfect color and style, easy to use and well made

BlissHome Nigella Lawson's Living Kitchen Cake Plate with Glass Dome, Blue

Plate is great, dome is very fragile
It's so fragile I do not put it in the dishwasher - feels like it will shatter any day... But the plate is very nice and color is beautiful.

Nice enough, but the misleading photo
This is a nice cloche, but the angle of the photo makes the bell seem deeper than it actually is. The 5.5 height in the product description must include the handle. A two-layer cake might fit, but it will be very tight if it does. The glass walls of the dome are also thinner than I'd hoped, but it's glass, so you'd have to be careful anyway. Still, excellent price the day I bought it from Amazon, and I can use it for pastries and cookies and such. If the dome happens to break, I can still use it as a nice cake plate.

originally, I ordered this in cream from the third-party-seller [...]. They do not carry this item. They have the Nigella Lawson cake stand, which is a plate on a small pedestal with no dome. I was able to get the blue from Amazon for a fantastic price, so I am more at ease with the mistake than I otherwise might have been.

Love it...
I get more complements about this cake and cheese dome because of it's interesting and unique design.

It's also great quality...both the glass cover and serving plate are nice and solidly made.

I would certainly buy another one if this were to break.
